ISEC 2016 ACCEPTED WORKSHOPS

                                                                           CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS (2 PAGE PDF)

ISEC Workshops provide opportunities to researchers, industry practitioners and students to discuss specific areas of software engineering in a relatively small gathering. Workshops also act as incubators for the software engineering community to work towards a particular research agenda in software engineering. Focus areas for workshops include all areas of software engineering (please refer to the list in main conference call for paper for the research paper track). Proposal for half day (3 hours) workshops are invited.

Proposal Submission
Proposal must not exceed 4 pages in ACM format. Proposal must include the following:


  1. Title.
  2. Workshop organizers (max 4 from at least two separate institutions/organizations).
  3. Objective of the Workshop (e.g., short abstract).
  4. Description.
  5. Format (contributed papers through an open call for paper or invited talks only).
  6. Plan (if the workshop has contributed papers then workshop submission and review schedule, and list of program committee members with a draft call for paper).
  7. Brief bio of organizers with past organization experience if any.

  • Workshops Date: 18 Feb 2016


A 2-Page Workshop Report (a 2 page report for each workshop) will be published in the proceedings/ACM Digital Library.

If the workshop organizers want to publish a proceeding then they can do the same independent of the main conference. It is not necessary to use ACM. For example, It can be CEUR. Page limits and type of papers (full, short, poster) are also decided by workshop organizers. It is the responsibility of the workshop organizers to publish workshop proceedings if they wish so, conference can just provide some support.
